Samsung Electronics said it did not provide any illegal funding support

South Korea's Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) Friday said it did not provide any illegal funding support. Samsung Electronics is caught in the quagmire of political bribery scandal.

Samsung Group head Li Zairong in February when the South Korean special prosecution to bribe and other charges. South Korea's former president, Park Ji-hui, stepped down on a bribe scandal, and she was accused of seeking funds from Samsung Electronics and other companies to support their political policies.

Li Zairong, Samsung and Park Ji-hui all denied misconduct.
